Update — Free Tier Credit Sync Delay Under Concurrent Sessions This issue has been resolved. Free tier credit balances now sync correctly across concurrent sessions on shared devices.
Free Tier Credit Sync Delay Under Concurrent Sessions
We're aware of an issue affecting free tier accounts where credit balances are failing to sync correctly when multiple accounts on the same device are running sessions simultaneously.
When two or more shared free tier accounts are active at the same time and spending credits within close intervals of each other, the syncing process is not given sufficient time to complete between transactions. This can result in credit balances being out of sync and not accurately reflecting the amount that has been spent across the affected accounts.
Users on free tier accounts that share a device with other NZGrader accounts and run sessions concurrently are most likely to experience this issue. Paid subscribers on Teacher Pro and Student Premium plans are unaffected.
We are currently investigating the cause and the full scope of impact. We will post an update here as our investigation progresses.
